7: current stimuli for November 6, 2005
MOVIES: "Batman Begins": made me forget about the horror of bat nipples. "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith": Am I still a man if I admit I got choked up at the end of this? If I'm not, then I didn't choke up. Sniff. Seriously. "Land of The Dead": Zombies become intelligent? What's next? Zombies that run like olympic sprinters? Oh wait... TV: "South Park": Offensive and funny as hell. The recent "gay marriage" episode truly left me agog. "Battlestar Galactica": A remake minus furry-robot thingies. And lovable kids. They both would be used as Cylon target practice by now. MUSIC: Depeche Mode, "Precious": More grooving, less moping here than the Mode has had recently. Weezer, "We Are All On Drugs": I think the title explains it all. It's about sweaters...coming undone... Kanye West, "Gold Digger": I don't care how many times this has been on the radio, but I like this, and the album ain't bad either. System of A Down, "Hypnotize": Whacked-out Armenian rap metal opera-something that I find myself digging.
